Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Plushpedia (“we”, “us”) is an unofficial collector platform for Jellycat plushies. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the product needs to work, we don’t sell your data, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plaintext password).
- Profile information you choose to provide. Username, display name, bio, website link, and avatar photo.
- Content you create.Your collection and wishlist entries (including optional purchase prices and notes), posts (“Moments”), photos, reactions, and follows.
- Preferences. Settings such as currency, marketplace region, and default visibility choices.
- Technical data. Session cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: your collection, wishlist, profile, and social features.
- To display content according to the visibility settings you choose (public, followers only, or private).
- To estimate collection values in your preferred currency.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
What others can see
Content visibility is controlled by you. Collections and posts marked public are visible to anyone, including search engines; followers-only content is visible to accounts you approve by their following you; and private content is visible only to you. Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar) is public. Purchase prices and personal notes on collection items are never shown to other users.
Where your data lives
Plushpedia is built on Supabase, which hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on their infrastructure and protected by row-level security — database rules that enforce your visibility choices at the storage layer, not just in the app.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, collection, wishlist, posts, photos, reactions, and follows. To request deletion, contact us at the address below.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time. Most of this is available directly in your account settings; for anything else, contact us and we’ll help.
Children
Plushpedia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
